In this era of Information technology, it gives me immense pleasure to present official Website of district Kupwara which has been hosted with the pioneering efforts of National Informatics Centre, District Kupwara. The Web site is enriched with contents covering various modules & aspects of district like population, area, district at a glance, who is who, forests, agriculture, horticulture, telephone directory & places of Interest.

The launch of website is the beginning of e-governance in the district. This website will introduce to the world District Kupwara via cyberspace and will bring the people of the district closer to the people in the rest of the state/ country/ world.

This is a step forward towards improving public interface of the administration for bringing about a transparency. The website would be updated from time to time and suggestions, if any, from users for improving its contents would be highly appreciated. I place on record my appreciation for the staff engaged with NIC & DIO in particular for their dedicated efforts in designing & developing the website & launching it on the internet.
